How to automate MainFrame Window using QTP?

First check the addin "Terminal Emulater" if it is installed or install in first and select the addin from the addin manager window.

Select the menu Tool -> Option.

Select Terminal Emulator Tab(QTP v. 9.5 or lower) or Terminal Emulator subtree (QTP v 10.0 and above).

Click on the open wizard button.

And follow the steps given in the file "TEUsersGuide.chm" in the help folder of QTP.
